My, Myself, and the Gomes.

Hello everyone! As you may be able to tell, my name is Tyler.
I am currently a student at Glendale Community College studying for my Associates in Business. I am a very weird guy, to begin with. I have many interests and hobbies, I have a moderately sized group of friends, and with all of our mutual interests and hobbies we end up in a lot of shenanigans. My story begins, and stays, in Glendale. I am a single child, of a single mother, and we live with my grandma. My father figure was actually my uncle who helped raise me and taught me how to be myself but still be a man. My family is mainly from New England, Massachusetts to be exact, and so our use of "R's" is used very loosely. To my family I was born with, I am Tyler Scott Gormley. To the family I chose, I am the Gomes.

We're pretty lame

My friends have been acquired over the years, some I've known since First Grade, others I've known for less than 2 years, but we all have one thing in common; we're messed up in the head. We normally go by solely our last names for most of the group so for example, my brother from another mother, Aaron Dierdorff, is known as Dierdorff. BUT WAIT THERES MORE. See, as I stated before we are a little.... different. We didn't leave it at Dierdorff, we eventually went to Dee-Dof, to just plain "D", to now the infamous "Big D". The same thing happened with me, and since they went by my last name, Gormley, they went to "Gomlay", to now "The Gomes".

He doesn't bite

Now these interests that connect us are pretty normal, we're just weird individuals. My personal interests are of music, animals, movies, specific video games, and hockey. The biggest thing that connects my friends is the fact that 6 of us have been in a band. We started out with just my friends from first grade, Matthew Burton (rhythm guitar) , Aaron Dierdorff (lead guitar), and myself (drums), in a band named Kicking the Fall. We at first didn't know we had this common interest, as well as our love for the Legend of Zelda series, and started to jam until we made the band. We went on to add Jordan Engle on bass, Danny Guardado on vocals, and Brent Billie for back up scream vocals. Eventually the band broke up and Aaron and I created with Jordan and Brent, A Thought Forgotten, that just recently broke up because adulthood sucks. We even went as far as playing at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe.

I have always enjoyed playing the Legend of Zelda series, my favorites being A Link to the Past and Twilight Princess, and their music actually got me into playing musical instruments. I also love animals greatly, ever since I was little. I currently own 3 dogs (Milo, Jenny, and Zelda), a Cockatiel named Jack, and a Bearded Dragon named Avedis. I used to want to be a Veterinarian until I found out I sucked at math. Lastly, every man has his favorite sport, mine is hockey and my favorite team is the Boston Bruins.
Now as I said in the beginning, I am attending Glendale Community College. I am focusing on my Associates of Business, mainly on Marketing, because I took Marketing and DECA as an elective and club senior year and fell in love with it. It took a lot of creativity to make advertisements and a lot of out-of-the-box thinking to pertain to certain demographics to help distribute products and would love to make that a career. I eventually plan on transferring to Arizona State University (ASU), but until then, I am still stuck in Glendale, Arizona. Lastly, I will show a summarization of how my life normally goes. Enjoy!
